Trash Bins Almost Done Rolling Out in Providence

The city of Providence is just about finished handing out new gray barrels to replace the large green ones, now used for recycling.

The distribution is scheduled to be complete by the end of the year, on Monday.

Providence has credited an increase in its recycling rate to the introduction of the green cans.
