PAWTUCKET, R. I. - Police say they are working several leads in a case where a man was robbed of over $4,000, just hours after cashing a check.
According to Pawtucket police, three armed masked men burst into a home Wednesday night, held a gun to a woman's head and demanded money from another person inside the complex.
Police say the suspects even called out a few of the victims' names. One the victims named Eric says, he believes the home invaders knew the money was inside. Major Arthur Martins of the Pawtucket Police department says" It's important to take large amounts of cash and deposit them into a banking account. He also says you should not tell anyone about money you have in the house.
No arrests have been made at this time.
