Seth Macfarlanes rise to fame started at the Rhode Island School of design. ABC6 talked to one of his teachers. Amy kravitz, one of Macfarlanes professors says, The 1995 RISD graduate was an excellent student and always did his work well. Macfarlane has risen to huge fame ,creating the wildly popular Family guy,American dad and the Cleveland show.He recently produced his first movie, Ted.He's also has been named as one of ten most interesting people by Barbera Walters. Kravitz says, she knew he would be successful,because he marched to his own drumbeat.Kravitz says Macfarlanes, off-beat sense of humor was evident early on.Kravitz says she didn't always get the joke. Macfarlane created the family guy as one of his required class projects.His teacher says,In his junior year he started developing that character, he had a different incarnation his name was Larry. Many RISD students look up to Seth Macfarlane and hope to follow in his footsteps.Jackson Ladonde, a freshman says,"he broke boundaries when he first started his show and that's what they try to get you do here is to think outside the box"
