Did you happen to look a the calendar today? December 12th, 2012...or...12-12-12.
In honor of the unique date, we found out how different people were celebrating the day.
For some, it was the celebration of new born babies. A little boy, Noah who came four days late, was born early this morning at Women and Infants. His parents Stephanie and Mark said, "He picked a good day to come out, everyone keeps saying oh he's beautiful but awesome birthday!"
And then, a little girl, Skailove, came a few weeks early. The second-time parents were thrilled but had no idea today was a lucky day. "I said it last night, what do you think if it hits 12–12–12 and I didn't even know it was lucky until one of the nurses came in and told me it was lucky to have a child on 12–12–12."
Even city hall saw a few people looking for marriage certificates this morning.
For some lucky pre-teens, it was their 12th birthday they celebrated today.
This is the last major numerical date this century.
