The dancing cop is back to entertain commuters giving his annual holiday gift to drivers and pedestrians. Today his sideshow in and around , Providence attracted crowds on the corner of Dorrance and Weybosett streets.
Tony Lepore,a retired officer has been entertaining holiday crowds since 1984.He's appeared on talk shows across the country with his traffic directing dancing and has two TV shows. He's says the adults love to see him,but it's all about the kids.Tony says, "for the children, no matter what you do in life, if you put everything into it, and you have the right idea and it's a little different, boy, I tell you, can really make something out of it." He's certainly made something out of his dance routine, He'll be directing traffic, using his slick dance moves throughout the holiday season.
