New England's unemployment rate is near its lowest level since January 2009.
The latest figures show the jobless rate is 6.8%, down one-tenth of a point from April.
The national rate is 8.2 percent.
Rhode Island still has the highest unemployment in the region, at 11 percent. It's the second highest in the country behind Nevada.
Massachusetts is at 6%.
Vermont has the lowest unemployment rate in the region at 4.6%.
