
TSA Authorities seized a disassembled hand gun and ammunition concealed in stuffed animals at a security check point.
Pieces of the gun, along with two rounds of ammunition were "artfully concealed" inside of three stuffed animals contained in a child's carry-on bag, according to the TSA.
The weapon was within a child's carry-on bag brought in by a father and son.
The Rhode Island Airport Police were called and searched the child's bag then took the gun and ammunition.
After seizing the weapon and interviewing the father and son, the two were allowed to continue on their flight to Detroit.
That matter remains under investigation.
