Another weekend, another Providence nightclub comes under the microscope. More than a dozen Providence Police officers swarmed club Fete after a large fight erupted inside. The fight happened just before one o'clock Sunday morning.
Providence police say five people were arrested, after a fight broke out in the front lounge of the club. 16 police officers arrived on scene to break up the fight. There's no word on any injuries.
Just last weekend, another club, Monet lounge, was shut down after a fight broke out there. Two women were injured when they were hit in the head with flying glass bottles. Owners of the club just settled with the city on Friday. They'll be able to re-open after paying 2-thousand dollars. They also have to have three police officers at the club on Friday and Saturday nights.
