Woonsocket priest defrocked after allegations of sexual abuse

A local priest is facing allegations of sexual abuse. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence has defrocked reverend Tim Gorton. The reported incidents took place nearly 30 years ago.

Gorton was assigned to Precious Blood Parish. Now, he's been ordered to move out of the rectory. So far, Gorton is not facing any criminal charges.
