The embattled town administrator of Charlestown, has resigned. Sources tell ABC 6 that the controversial administrator Charles DiLibero quit, instead of being fired.
Last Fall, ABC 6 broke the story of DiLibero, who was coming under fire for questionable fundraising practices for Ninigret Part. The dispute over what to do with the former federal property boiled over when DiLibero suggested wind turbines go up there.
Three of five council members were set to fire DiLibero but, he resigned instead.
