I'm happy to be back in New England after spending 5-years in Iowa.
While in Iowa I worked as a reporter at ABC6's sister station in Des Moines.
In 2008 and 2012 I was able to cover the Iowa Caucus up close. The Caucus is the first major contest in the long Presidential nominating process. Iowa's place in the process ensures that the state gets lots of attention and visits from the candidates, ma...king it a great place for a political junkie like me.
Before moving to Iowa, I was an anchor, reporter, and news-director for WEBN, the Associated Press' College News Station of the Year, at Emerson College, where I was also the host of the popular debate show "Speechless"
I'm originally from Webster, Massachusetts, which is known for its long-named lake. Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg is the longest place name in the United States, which in Nipmuc Indian means, "Fishing Place at the Boundary" If you happen to see me out covering a story I'd be more than happy to pronounce it for you or you can feel free to call it Webster Lake instead.
I'm excited to be working at ABC6 covering stories throughout Rhode Island and the South Coast of Massachusetts.
If you have a news tip or lead that you'd like to share with me, feel free to message me, tweet at me, e-mail me, or give me a call at our station, at any time.
