ABC 6's newest addition to the Stormtracker Team is Rhode Island native, Chelsea Priest. Chelsea hails from Warwick. The Prout School graduate attended Plymouth State University in New Hampshire where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology.
After graduation, Chelsea headed out to tornado country for a year, where she was the Morning Meteorologist at WHIZ in Ohio. Chelsea is excited to be back in Rhode Island where forecasting New England weather has always been her passion.
She is a member of the American Meteorological Society and her favorite activities involve dance, skiing, travel and frequenting Rhode Island's great beaches. She is looking forward to getting involved in the community. If you have any story ideas please contact Chelsea at cpriest@abc6.com.
