Dana Griffin joined ABC6 News in June 2013 as a general assignment reporter.
Previously, she worked for KIEM in Eureka, CA where she was the weekend anchor/reporter.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., Dana graduated magna cum laude from Clark Atlanta University with a degree in Mass Media Arts.
Before reporting, Dana worked behind the scenes at WAGA in Atlanta. At one point, she was as an extras-casting recruiter for MTV's Teen Wolf.
Dana loves football and will only root for her home team: The Atlanta Falcons!
In her free time, Dana likes to travel, dance, work out, watch movies, and stay active in the community. She volunteers with the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, and is part of the 'Providence Reads' initiative, which focuses on improving reading proficiency of low-income children.
Dana is the communication director for the Southern New England chapter of NABJ. She's also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
