Clouds will increase into Thursday morning, with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s.
Thursday looks to be a cloudy and mild day. There will be a few showers as a warm front moves through the area, but only trace amounts of rain are expected. There will also be some areas of fog, especially into Thursday night. Expect highs in the mid 50s, followed by Thursday night lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s!
A cold front will approach the area on Friday. As the front approaches, scattered showers are likely. It will be mild once again with highs in the lower 50s. Once the front moves through on Friday afternoon, temperatures will drop and there will be a brief amount of time on Friday night where we could see some wet snow mixing with rain, especially to the north and west of Providence. Precipitation is expected to end by daybreak Saturday.
Otherwise the weekend looks quiet and much cooler. Highs on Saturday will be in the lower 40s and even cooler on Sunday with highs only in the mid to upper 30s. Another round of mixed precipitation is likely for Sunday night, Monday and possibly into Tuesday.
